We’ve produced a new DVD and PowerPoint, Pray for Pakistan, to help you organise your own prayer event. This resource is ideal for use as part of a church service, prayer meeting or small group (eg Bible study or home group). 

Originally produced for IDOP (the International Day Of Prayer) for the persecuted church, held in November 2008, the DVD can be used at any time.

'Persecuted minority' 

Meet some of Release’s partners in Pakistan, and the persecuted Christians helped by your support. Christians in Pakistan are a persecuted minority, who are treated as second-class citizens, facing discrimination at work, in education and in the legal system. Pakistan’s infamous 295(c) blasphemy laws continue to be used abusively against Christians – and Christian women face particular dangers, owing to their low social and legal status.
