China has been arresting Christian lawyers and human rights campaigners to try to prevent a repeat of the popular revolutions taking place around North Africa and the Middle East. Andrew Boyd of Release International went to Beijing to interview lawyers and Christian pastors who were under surveillance by the authorities. They took a great risk in speaking to him. One, lawyer Jiang Tianyong [pronounced Tiun Tian-yong], said he was expecting to be arrested and tortured at any time… two days later he was abducted. Two months later, he has just been released...
